Christine | Maternity Session

Well, I’ve never done a maternity session and had the baby arrive before I even edited the photos! When Christine emailed me exactly a week after their maternity session and said that their sweet Amelia had arrived, I was so surprised! I quickly moved their images to the top of my edit pile and finished the images so that they could enjoy them a little before they have newborn images to look through.

We had to reschedule this session a few times due to the rain that we’ve been having. I think we should start calling Spring in Chicago monsoon season. Goodness!

I met up with them at Cantigny for their session. I have been using Cantigny as a backdrop for years and years now. I love how well kept their gardens are, how beautiful the blooms always look and of course the architecture that it offers. I just wouldn’t want to be there on a really busy day, because it is a popular spot!

I can’t wait to meet their beautiful daughter!
