Michael | Chicago Newborn Session

In December, I met up with Kristen and Matt for their maternity session. They were so excited to capture that time in their lives, and were anticipating Michael’s arrival. Well, he has arrived! He was a sleepy bundle of perfection for his pictures. He is 7 days old in these pictures and he was so very flexible. Most newborns have a great degree of flexibility, but Michael must have been doing yoga on the inside. He could kiss his toes!
I was happy to go on location in their Chicago home for these pictures, they had the perfect light and a great corner for me to set up my boxes and boxes of gear that I hauled in. I was also so excited to try out a few hand knit blankets and hand felted wraps that I have been working on this month…I have been crafting up a storm!
