Last year, I had the privilege of meeting Nichole at Emerson Creek Pottery and Tearoom. She is the sales director at Emerson, working with the couples that book Emerson Creek for their wedding. We had a fun Summer working together and I was so excited to hear that she was expecting a little on in January!
She and Chris decided to wait until the baby arrived to find out if it was a boy or girl…they even decorated their nursery “neutral” so that it could welcome a boy or girl. Sweet Lincoln arrived, and after photographing his nursery, Nichole and I were laughing about how perfect it is for a little boy. A very talented friend and coworker, Joanna, helped design the nursery space. So many perfect elements were found and arranged in the nursery, I love the rustic feel and the lovingly made items that make this nursery feel so welcoming. Nichole and a friend hand painted the dresser with chalk paint and I love the color and texture!
It was so nice to “hop” across a field in Yorkville to do Lincoln’s in home session, just a few minutes from me! They had the perfect natural light space for the session and I could photograph babies there every day!
Sweet Lincoln was perfect for his session. His squishy little cheeks and pink little lips…adorable!!
